This is my small hobby website where I will post occassional mini articles, Lego builds, observations and compilations about the Simpsons. Basically whenever there is something that I as a Simpsons fan would like to see and cannot find. I hope to implement some sort of comment section for a little friendly discussion.
For discussing individual episodes or other topics I can also recommend visiting the No Homers Club forum.
At the time of writing this in 2026, the internet is dominated by big faceless websites like Instagram, Reddit, X or Facebook. Of course there are good parts to them too, I can't lie. But it's nice to surf websites that do not have endless scrolling, AI slop, SEO optimized texts that no human can read and a good dose of personality.
My search for the "old web" (that may have never existed in the first place) started after watching a Kurzgesagt video on the topic. I am searching for this modern Eldorado filled with small passionate comunities, where the internet is a place, not an ever present thing. Where after surfing for a while you think: "Well, that was the internet for today," then turn off the PC and white plastic CRT screen and move on with your day.
We had sites like this. It was the early Youtube up to the mid 2010s. It was the flash game sites such as Nitrome. It was early Facebook... nah, who am I kidding!? That one has always been crap. And the world wide web has been always full of ads. And the people always fought back: Adblockers, alternate search engines, piracy sites...
Anyway, welcome to this little corner of the internet. I hope this site brings a little bit of joy and more than just nostalgia.
